COMFORTABLE WITH AN ASTERISK (*)

𝟭𝟮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼, 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗗𝗼𝗻𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗽𝘀𝗲 condition from a renound Orthopedic Surgeon in Hyderabad: And the list was all about 👇

❌Don’t bend.

❌Don’t sit on the floor.

❌Wear a waist support belt.

These instructions were meant to keep me comfortable—and they did.

But had I stayed in that comfort zone, I might have avoided physical discomfort yet missed out on discovering something far greater: that is my potential which I am now- of becoming a yoga practitioner, a passionate Odissi dancer, and being professionally fulfilled adding value to my clients life while feeling empowered.

Instead, I chose to reimagine comfort. I asked myself:

📌How can I create a space where I respect my body’s limits and #explore its possibilities?

📌How can I shift from weaker > stronger

while staying mindful of my condition?

This curiosity led me to yoga, where I learned that 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗽.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 > 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲? 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀.

Sometimes, it’s about finding that #middle ground—where comfort #nurtures you, and #curiosity propels you forward.

Today, as a yoga practitioner, I realize healing isn’t about rejecting discomfort outright. It’s about creating conditions that support exploration and growth.

❓A question for you:

📌How are you enjoying your comfort zone right now?

Take a moment to #reflect on it. Then consider:

📌How might that comfort zone be making you uncomfortable in the quality of your life?

These are the types of #big questions I #explore with my clients during #clarity calls. Together, we unpack what “#comfortable” really means—and whether it’s helping you #thrive or quietly holding you back.If this resonates with you, let’s connect.
