Distraction is something that pulls you away from the things you say you would do.
To be able to do those things you have to apply traction – any action that will not let you give up on tasks or pull away from them.
So the opposite of distraction is traction.
-If you watching a movie your on mobile and getting distracted by traffic noise, you’ll increase your voice on your mobile.
-If social media pop-ups disturb you in making a project you may turn off the mobile network.
Action is the outcome of our efforts to achieve traction.
Focus is irrespective of the presence of distractions. Sometimes nothing is distracting you but you just choose not to focus on certain things.
