I can not do that here” – let’s understand what this line means.
“I” – the identity, the less trust in yourself
“Can not” -the belief based on past experience or perception
Do – fear of performing the task
That – biased belief about a particular task
Here – perceived fear of a particular environment.
Your belief system has so much power to either make you fly or disempower you to the level of being handicapped with your thoughts.
Your perception or a strong belief developed over an instance or series of experience.
Then you always seek evidence that supports your belief which you obviously get because life is full of positive and negative experiences that too vary from subject to subject.
Negative beliefs limit our own experience, it stops us to take risks and explore outcomes.
You can work on it because a belief system is nothing more than a thought you have thought over and over again.
Watch your language! Bring your awareness towards your narratives
What you say in your head to yourself and the words you choose to speak to those listening to you carry your belief and that may create a perception about you too.
Get rid of the limiting language you use that includes ‘but’, ‘should’, ‘can’t’, “always’, ‘never’ and ‘maybe’.
Replace them with more empowering ones, “I can try”, “let me figure it out “, “I will explore more on this before I decide”.
These narratives will create possibilities and opportunities. Also would encourage you and lead you to become more resourceful to yourself and to your ecosystem.
Mind what you say because words have the power to create and destroy both.
Our language creates our realities.
